Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities • Lead the preparation and interpretation of comprehensive financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other regulatory frameworks. • Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and cash flow analysis. • Manage risk analysis initiatives to identify potential financial threats and develop mitigation strategies aligned with organizational goals. • Direct treasury management activities such as investment management, liquidity planning, and cost control measures to optimize cash flow. • Drive strategic planning processes by providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and profit & loss management to support sustainable growth. • Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements across all operational regions. • Supervise the development of financial reports, including detailed variance analysis, account analysis, and fiscal management reports for executive leadership. • Lead a team of finance professionals in delivering high-quality financial services while fostering leadership development within the department. Requirements • Proven expertise in IFRS, IAS, GAAP, ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition Standard), and technical accounting principles essential for accurate financial reporting. • Extensive experience in corporate finance, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and public accounting environments. • Strong background in risk management, risk analysis, compliance management, and regulatory reporting practices. • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning initiatives with a focus on financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and investment management. • Proficiency in financial software systems along with advanced skills in balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, account reconciliation, and bookkeeping processes. • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams in fast-paced settings; ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly. • Deep understanding of fiscal management principles including profit & loss oversight, cost control strategies, and revenue management techniques. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights for executive decision-making.
