Growing private equity backed Home Services company is looking for an industry experienced CFO. The Chief Financial Officer will be a key leader within our organization, reporting directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors. You will head our accounting and finance organization ensuring the integrity of our financial operations and supporting the company’s growth trajectory. This is a high-visibility role with significant upside. Key Responsibilities: • Lead all aspects of the accounting and finance organization, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Seeking leaders, thinkers AND doers. • Ability to work in a hands on environment accomplishing the accounting and reporting functions in an efficient manner but also possess the ability to be strategic and help drive the business forward from an analytical basis • Responsible for executing month-end close procedures, including entity level consolidations, account reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals, to ensure accurate financial statements. • Delivers timely and precise financial reporting, clearly communicating insights into the company’s performance and supporting strategic decision-making • Regularly identify and evaluate opportunities for more efficient, automated, innovative, and effective administrative operations, internal controls, policies, procedures, recordkeeping, and reporting. · Develop budgets, projections, and models for financial planning and analysis and long-term strategic planning • Act as a key liaison to the bank for line of credit and compliance reporting, forecasting, and cash management in Treasury/Banking responsibilities. Experience in 13-week cash flow forecasting a plus • Ensure accurate and timely information for tax returns, serving as the primary point of contact to auditors in Tax duties. • Assist in strategic mergers and acquisitions, contributing financial expertise to facilitate successful transactions and support the company's growth objectives. • Qualifications:· 10+ years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence • Prior CFO experience in a PE environment. • Strong experience with Merger and Acquisitions as well as rollup· A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting CPA license a plus· Strong leadership skills with the ability to think strategically and act operationally. • While candidates with finance backgrounds will be considered, a strong background in accounting with extensive knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statement is expected • Extensive knowledge of technical accounting with intimate understanding of GAAP as it relates to smaller private companies is required· Familiarity with modern financial systems and technologies· Prior involvement in M&A· Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to work closely with executive teams and the Board.
