Pay Rate Range: W2 $60-65/hrIndustry: Banking Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, SSIS, Power BI, and Kimball data warehouse design to support reporting and analytics within our loan servicing and financial systems environment. This role focuses on building complex data models, extracting and transforming loan data, and delivering high-quality business intelligence solutions to support operational and executive decision-making. The ideal candidate understands the full lifecycle of a loan, can write complex SQL queries from scratch, and has hands-on experience developing ETL pipelines and enterprise reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities Data Engineering & ETL•Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from loan systems into enterprise data warehouses.•Build data pipelines that support loan origination, servicing, payment history, delinquency, and charge-off analytics.•Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL workflows for performance and reliability.•Collaborate with source system owners to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Data Warehouse & Modeling•Design and maintain dimensional models following the Kimball methodology.•Create and manage fact and dimension tables related to loan portfolios, borrower profiles, transaction history, and risk indicators.•Ensure data integrity across staging, ODS, and data warehouse layers. SQL Development•Write complex SQL queries from scratch, including multi-table joins, window functions, CTEs, subqueries, and performance-optimized scripts.•Perform advanced data validation, reconciliation, and anomaly detection.•Develop stored procedures and views to support analytics and reporting needs. Reporting & Analytics•Develop and maintain dashboards and operational reports using Power BI.•Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs and visualizations.•Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs across loan servicing, compliance, operations, and finance. Data Quality & Governance•Implement data quality checks and monitoring frameworks.•Document data flows, transformations, and business logic.•Support audit, regulatory, and compliance reporting initiatives. Required Qualifications•Strong SQL expertise – ability to design and troubleshoot complex queries independently.•Hands-on SSIS experience building enterprise-grade ETL pipelines.•Advanced experience creating reports and dashboards in Power BI.•Solid understanding of Kimball data warehouse architecture.•In-depth knowledge of the loan lifecycle, including origination, servicing, payments, delinquency, and close-out.•Experience working with loan servicing systems or financial services platforms.•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills•Experience with Informatica as an alternative ETL tool.•Working knowledge of Python for data processing or automation.•Background in financial services, banking, mortgage, or consumer lending environments.•Familiarity with data governance, regulatory reporting, and compliance frameworks.
