Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Coordinator to support both daily administrative functions and core accounting processes. This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing responsibilities across multiple areas while maintaining strict confidentiality. Primary Responsibilities • Office Operations & Administrative Coordination • Oversee general office functions to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including scheduling and calendar management. • Serve as a professional point of contact for incoming communications. • Maintain and update digital and physical document management systems. • Monitor and replenish office supplies and coordinate equipment needs. • Assist leadership and staff with administrative tasks as needed. Financial & Accounting Support • Manage vendor invoices and customer billing processes. • Maintain accurate financial records within the company’s accounting system. • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. • Coordinate with outside accounting professionals during reporting cycles and audits. Required Qualifications • Prior experience in office administration, accounting support, or a combined operational role. • Working knowledge of fundamental accounting practices. • Proficiency in standard office software, including spreadsheet and email applications. • Strong organizational abilities and high attention to detail. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information responsibly. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Preferred Qualifications • Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms. • Exposure to payroll systems or basic HR administration. • Post-secondary education in accounting, business administration, or a related discipline.
