Location: Tri-state region (NC / SC / GA) — regional role with frequent travel to client sites. Type: Full-time, salaried. Armed role: Yes (must maintain current credentials). Salary range: USD $50,000 – $55,000 per year. A security company is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and optimize delivery of security services across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. You will be the local lead responsible for executing operational strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing teams and resources, improving service quality, and promoting the adoption of security technologies. You will report to the Operations Director and make decisions within delegated authority. Key Responsibilities • Implement the company’s operational strategy across NC / SC / GA and adapt processes to local conditions. • Plan and supervise staffing, shift scheduling, recruitment, and performance management for security and operations personnel. • Ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements and corporate policies; perform regular audits and on-site inspections. • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for clients in the region: monitor metrics, manage incidents/escalations, and drive continuous service improvement. • Lead deployment and optimization of monitoring technologies, CCTV, access control systems, and reporting tools. • Manage operational decisions and expenses within delegated limits; escalate larger purchases or hires to the Operations Director. Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s in Management/Operations preferred. • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in security operations, military background, or related roles; experience managing multiple sites or regions. • Required state licenses and certifications for armed security supervision/management in NC / SC / GA (candidate must maintain all state and corporate credentials). • Experience with integrated security systems (CCTV, access control), emergency management, and operational data analysis. • Proven skills in leadership, process optimization, risk management, and regulatory compliance. • Availability to travel within the region and perform on-site visits and audits. Preferred • Industry-specific certifications (e.g., HR218 if applicable), tech-driven operations experience, and project management training.
