CTC is seeking a Junior Associate Safety and Health Professional, a junior-level safety professional with hands-on experience in developing and implementing comprehensive safety and health programs within state agencies. The ideal candidate has a strong foundational knowledge of safety principles and is eager to apply their skills to support effective, compliant, and sustainable safety initiatives. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who contributes to fostering a culture of safety through strategic planning, employee training, and continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities: Work with State Agency Safety Coordinators to support or manage the day-to-day safety programs Conduct Accident and Illness Prevention Program (AIPP) assessments and audits Develop, revise, and deliver safety and health trainings or educational sessions Plan and organization multiple initiatives simultaneously, determine responsibilities, and track completion to stay on target Develop and write Agency specific safety programs Analyze data and prepare technical reports and provide recommendations Establish Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely (SMART) safety and health goals and objectives Develop newsletters, trainings, and educational materials Attend meetings as a safety subject matter expert Work with safety committees Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes and corrective actions; Basic Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree, or higher earned from an accredited program from an accredited college or university in safety science or engineering with a major concentration in occupational or industrial safety and health Two years of experience in a safety related field Ability to work during core business hours 8:00am – 5:00pm Eastern Time (EST/EDT) Monday through Friday. Ability to pass a background check Preferred Skills: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or another certification granted by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). Why CTC?
