IT Project Manager / Project Lead — Remote, South Carolina Residents Only (12-Month Contract) Location: Remote (Must reside in South Carolina) Contract Length: 12 months Work Type: Full-time, 100% Remote About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager / Project Lead to support complex technology initiatives and coordinate multiple concurrent projects. This fully remote role requires a motivated, organized, and adaptable project leader who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively collaborate with technical and business teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and proven experience managing full project lifecycles. Daily Duties / Responsibilities • Manage and coordinate tasks for one or more small-to-large IT projects or project components. • Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closeout. • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the lifecycle. • Build project work plans, manage timelines, monitor scope, and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule. • Prepare project status reports and present updates to stakeholders and leadership. • Identify risks, issues, and gaps; recommend and implement mitigation strategies. • Drive the development and execution of communication plans. • Collaborate with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes. • Support change management and release management activities as part of the implementation process. • Maintain project roadmaps and create dashboards to track project metrics and performance. • Develop and document processes, collect stakeholder feedback, and present to senior leadership. • Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required.
