Full Description

Title: IT Business Analyst (Mid-level) Location: Remote ComTec is looking for a mid-level IT Business Analyst with full software life cycle experience including requirements gathering, design, testing, and training. The candidate must be agile certified and must be able to execute workshops to gather, refine, and develop user stories. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, high sense of urgency, highly organized and keep meticulous records. Responsibilities • Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements. • Assist in developing User Stories and to-be process flows. • Support the tracking of the lifecycle of business requirements from JIRA stories, through testing (requirements tracking), • Support the tracking/monitoring of key business decisions. • Document business action items and track/monitor of business action items through to completion. • Support documentation control and management. • Support project communication outreach initiatives. • Review of change, training, and business process deliverables. • Assist in the development of business presentations to be shared with stakeholders. • Assist in stakeholder interviews as needed. Requirements: • 3+ years of experience working as an IT business analyst • 3+ years of experience gathering business requirements and developing user stories • Must be agile certified and be able to document business action items from workshops. • Understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies, requirements management, quality assurance and IT processes. • Experience developing AS-IS and TO-BE business process flows. • Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes, the ability to identify, capture, and translate business requirements. • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, facilitation, and coordination skills. • Must have excellent experience using MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
