Overview CTG is seeking to fill a Solution Consultant - Cybersecurity Services position for our client. Location: Houston, TX Duration: 12 months Duties: • Provide expert consultation and guidance on cybersecurity solutions to clients. • Assess and analyze client network, system, and application security postures. • Design and implement security strategies aligned with industry standards and frameworks. • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits. • Support cloud security initiatives, including AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices. • Develop and deliver security presentations, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders. • Respond to and assist in incident investigations and remediation efforts. Skills: • Network Security – TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS. • System Security Hardening – Windows, Linux, patching. • Cloud Security – AWS/Azure/GCP, IAM, cloud tools. • Application Security – OWASP Top 10, API security. • SIEM & Monitoring – Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel. • Endpoint & Vulnerability Management – EDR tools, Nessus/Qualys. • Penetration Testing Tools – Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Wireshark. • Cybersecurity Frameworks – NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK. • Programming/Scripting – Python, Bash, PowerShell. • Soft Skills – Incident response, communication, problem-solving. Experience: • Minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity consulting, system/network security, or related field. • Hands-on experience with security tools, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity frameworks. • Proven track record of delivering security solutions and recommendations to enterprise clients. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
