Project Manager Mount Clemens, MI 48043 Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday Position Summary: • Project Managers are responsible for initiating, planning, executing, and controlling projects associated with new product development, product cost reduction, and industrialization to name a few. The candidate must possess the drive to become a future leader that delivers outstanding results in a dynamic cross-functional environment. Core Responsibilities: • The Project Manager will be responsible for small to medium complexity and risk level projects. • Manages new product, process, or cost initiatives and delivers on achievement of quality, timing, and cost targets • Leads cross-functional teams and interfaces with all internal departments working on projects, to keep up to date on project status and ensure timely completion • Works with customers to ensure project meets customer requirements • Ensures proper coordination, prioritization, and communication of project objectives • Aggressively pursue execution excellence utilizing standardized project management tools and compliance to company processes Additional Responsibilities: • This position will be an ambassador of project management to the global community. Education/Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, electrical, mechanical, industrial) required. • PMP certification or equivalent preferred. Required Qualifications: • Strong manufacturing process background • Minimum 3 years of experience in leading initiatives. • Strong teamwork and ability to interact with all levels of the organizations. • Effective oral and written communication skills including presentation creation. • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: • Engineering, business development, manufacturing experience or related education.
