Description We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to care for our Primary & Urgent Care patients. Qualified candidates will demonstrate clinical competency by utilizing medical techniques and principles independently to offer care to a diverse set of patients. Qualified candidates will have strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills. This is a full-time role, requiring a daily commute to our Nashville West office. Compensation is base salary plus productivity bonus. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, professional and eager to help Complete Health Partners change the way care is delivered and able to give that level of care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and patient with others and also be required to follow health and safety guidelines consistent with the policies, procedures, and standards of care at Complete Health Partners. Requirements Acquire and review patient histories, identifying abnormal conditions Perform physical examinations and evaluate patients’ symptoms to determine the best course of treatment Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine Monitor patients’ progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries or other medical events Document patients’ medical information and maintains patient charts Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options Communicate regularly with other healthcare providers to ensure that all aspects of care are being addressed Perform data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases and maintaining patient files Participate in continuing education to continually improve skills and abilities and stay abreast of current technologies/practices Ensure compliance with legal issues including but not limited to patient confidentiality and risk management; ensures compliance with JCAHO, federal, state, and local regulations Exhibit a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals Adjust to fluctuating peaks in patient flow, acuity, and other operational demands while maintaining quality Perform other related duties as assigned by management Knowledge and Skills: Active Tennessee Nurse Practitioner License Experience - One to three years in Urgent Care, ER, or Workers Comp setting or equivalent experience Current CPR Certification Abilities The ideal candidate will possess: Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events Analytical Ability - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Demonstrates attention to detail Humility - Does not think more highly of oneself than others; Guides and instructs others with patience; Seeks to build relationships and serve others; puts patients and team members first Initiative - Volunteers readily; Undertakes self-development activities; Seeks increased responsibilities; Takes independent actions and calculated risks; Looks for and takes advantage of opportunities; Asks for and offers help when needed Innovation - Displays original thinking and creativity; Meets challenges with resourcefulness; Generates suggestions for improving work; Develops innovative approaches and ideas; Presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention Oral & Written Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations with patients and providers; Listens, understands, and responds well; Leads and presents in meetings; Writes/ types clearly and informatively with excellent spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet business needs; Reads and interprets documents Planning/Organizing Ability - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes own schedule and tasks around others Solutions Orientation - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions independently; Works well in group problem-solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics Professionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments Quality Focus - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality
