Our Compass Travel Center located in DeMotte Indiana is NOW OPEN! The new Compass Travel Center is designed to be the premier experience for professional drivers and interstate travelers. We seek proactive, career-minded professionals, passionate about growing a career with Compass Travel Center! Our facility offers many amenities including restaurants, truck fueling lanes, automobile and RV fueling lanes, showers, drivers lounge, grab-and-go food, truck supplies, clean restrooms, truck parking, and more! Compass Travel Center is seeking experienced Cashier Team Members! The Cashier is expected to: • Provide outstanding customer service • Have the ability to complete accurate sales transactions • Have the ability to use computers, telephones, and other equipment as needed • Have the ability to work as part of a team • Complete assignments from the management team • Adhere to register procedures and cash handling policies and processes • Assist with merchandising the convenience store to achieve a great store presentation • Have the ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends and holidays • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds • Frequently, bend, stoop, and reach to move items at various heights: floor level, shoulder level, or using a ladder • Stand/walk for shifts up to 8 hours (breaks are given during the shift) • Use a computer and its applications efficiently • Perform maintenance duties such as cleaning windows, mopping floors, scrub grills, cleaning Restrooms, and similar • Operate all safety equipment such as emergency cut-off, fire extinguisher, and similar equipment Compass Travel Center, LLC and its affiliates is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
