You will provide proactive risk management support to some of the world’s most influential organizations — including Amazon, American Express, Bank of America, Bloomberg, BNY, BP, Chevron, Citadel, Goldman Sachs, Google, HSBC, IBM, JPMC, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, P&G, Sanofi, Shell, and Uber. This role is pivotal in reducing claims, lost-time injuries, and food safety incidents by fostering a strong safety culture, leveraging performance analytics, and embedding best-in-class practices across diverse geographies and industries. Acting as a strategic partner, you will collaborate with client leadership and operational teams to ensure compliance, sustainability, and continuous improvement in global health, occupational, and food safety standards.Responsibilities: Strategic & Program Leadership Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety and food safety programs that meet or exceed global regulatory requirements (OSHA, ISO 45001, FDA, USDA, EU directives, Codex Alimentarius) and client-specific standards. Partner with client risk, safety, and food safety leaders to align Compass Group processes with site-level operational expectations. Integrate safety and food safety performance metrics into executive business reviews, driving continuous improvement and long-term risk reduction. Operational & Compliance Oversight Conduct site visits and audits across global environments — manufacturing, logistics, energy, technology, pharmaceutical, and foodservice sectors — to assess compliance and identify risk reduction opportunities. Ensure adherence to international, federal, and local occupational health, food safety, and sanitation laws. Standardize documentation and incident reporting procedures for both safety and food safety across global operations. Data Analytics & Risk Reduction Apply risk management information systems (RMIS) and predictive analytics to identify injury trends, food safety risks, emerging hazards, and financial impact drivers. Lead benchmarking initiatives to compare performance against global peers and industry standards in both occupational and food safety. Training & Capability Development Design and deliver multilingual, regionally adapted training programs for managers and associates covering occupational safety, food safety, and sanitation practices. Create client-specific safety and food safety orientation materials and toolkits. Facilitate leadership workshops to strengthen accountability and empower local management teams in both safety and food safety domains. Communication & Engagement Maintain regular communication with Compass Group leadership and global client contacts regarding safety and food safety outcomes, initiatives, and risk indicators. Prepare and distribute executive-level reports, dashboards, and summaries highlighting performance and strategic progress. Incident Management & Investigation Lead or support root cause analyses of significant incidents, including food safety events, ensuring lessons learned are shared globally. Partner with claims, HR, and food safety teams to support safe and timely return-to-work and corrective action programs. Qualifications: Strong analytical skills with proven experience using data-driven approaches to enhance safety and food safety performance. Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills; able to engage effectively with global client stakeholders. Deep knowledge of international safety and food safety standards and frameworks (OSHA, ISO 45001, FDA, USDA, EU and APAC regulatory systems). Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and regions. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and RMIS platforms. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% or more. Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Environmental Health, Food Safety, or related field. 5–7 years of safety and/or food safety experience, preferably supporting multinational clients or complex industrial sectors (Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Technology, Logistics, Foodservice). Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or equivalent international certification preferred. HACCP certification, ServSafe, or equivalent food safety training a plus. OSHA 30-hour training or equivalent global safety training a plus.
