We run four small, nurturing homes—each supporting up to three young people in a warm, homely environment tailored to their individual needs. Every child has their own private space, plus shared areas for connection and community., Registered Manager - Children’s Residential Home Location: Andover - Arc HD Services Ltd Hours: Full-Time | Contract: Permanent Are you a passionate and experienced leader in children's residential care? We’re seeking a Registered Manager to lead our Children’s Home in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on young lives while shaping a high-performing, compassionate team. Key Responsibilities • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Children’s Home, ensuring full regulatory compliance. • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, taking responsibility for all safeguarding referrals and procedures. • Inspire and supervise a dedicated team, ensuring high standards of care and professional development. • Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and external agencies to deliver holistic, therapeutic support. • Manage budgets, staffing rosters, and care plans with precision and empathy. • Maintain strong relationships with families, commissioners, and the wider community. ✅ What We’re Looking For • Essential: • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years • At least 1 year in a supervisory/management role • Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to child protection • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle • Desirable: • Studying or committed to completing Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare • Previous experience as a Designated Safeguarding Officer • Experience writing reports and attending reviews Why Join Arc HD Services? • Be part of a values-driven organisation focused on therapeutic care and emotional wellbeing. • Work in a supportive environment with regular supervision and opportunities for growth. • Make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people. • Enjoy a collaborative culture where your voice and leadership truly matter.
