The Senior Financial Reporting & Planning Analystis an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, mission-focused finance professional. Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting & Planning and serving as an integral member of the Finance Team, the senior financial reporting & planning analyst has comprehensive knowledge of GAAP. Experience applying this skillset to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial statements; build strong, strategically focused financial plans; and manage the full accounting cycle for grants through reporting. What you’ll do in your role: You will support the month-end financial close and reporting process. Prepare and analyze monthly departmental and organization wide financial statements. Analyze budget to actual performance results by Functional Area Support the design, build, and automation of the forecast/ budget planning cycles in conjunction with the Director, Financial Reporting & Planning You will support the day-to-day financial administration of the government and philanthropic grant portfolios through reporting. Assist in new grant/contract setup and preparation of budget plans to provide financial oversight and monitoring of revenues and expenditures related to the contracts/grants. Track expenditures to plan and monitor to ensure they are allowable in accordance with the grant agreement. Ensure completeness and accuracy of monthly/quarterly contract vouchers. You will provide support in the preparation of grant progress and close-out reports, including provision of financial data to internal stakeholders for each report submission, as required. What you’ll need to be successful in this role: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 4 years of accounting and financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, and financial grants administration experience. Nonprofit experience a plus. Strong understanding of GAAP and grant compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple grants, deadlines, and reporting cycles accurately and timely. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas; macros preferred). Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with systems such as NJ SAGE, Salesforce, Concur, ADP, or Business Central v5.1 or higher preferred. Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain a high level of attention to detail. Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $82,768-$111,980 annually. The final rate may be influenced by factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
