Responsibilities The Risk Management Consultant - CRT will aid in the assessment and improvement of client CRT programs, assist in education and training related to CRT and assist in the development of strategic risk management solutions in contractual risk transfer. This individual will also participate in the management and coordination of carrier services for clients as needed. The consultant will also be considered a lead in the administration of our COI management systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with designated clients to assess their CRT program. Work with the Senior CRT Consultant or Specialist to review client agreements/documents related to CRT. Recommend areas for improvement to protect our client with oversight of the Senior CRT Consultant or specialist. Assist Clients in monitoring their executed agreements and certificates of insurance. Assume the role of product leader relating to the OG COI management system (Trust Layer / COI Track). Participate in general knowledge development activities of OneGroup staff on CRT. Be a CRT resource to both Clients and OneGroup staff. Engage in marketing activities to promote capabilities, products and services related to CRT or general risk management.. Execute administrative and expense procedures as directed. Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner. Continuously build and develop consultative and technical skills. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required with a focus on risk management, insurance, law, business or fields related to contract management. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Professional Certifications/Licenses (Preferred): CLU, CPCU, ARM Experience/Skills (Preferred): 5+ years’ experience in account management consulting, risk management, law or related experience required. Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills to include strong consulting skills. Excellent writing skills. Understand and have the ability to consult on the relationship among insurance, CRT and organizational risk management. Understanding Tort Liability. General understanding of Commercial Lines Insurance. Working knowledge of coverage and forms. General understanding of the form and function of the Certificate of Insurance. General understanding of the Contractual Risk Transfer process and relationship to all parties involved. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently with minimum oversight. Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record. Willingness to travel, including overnight, as required.
