Assistant Practice Manager š Reports to: Practice Manager Department: Operations Key Partnerships: Practice Staff & Support Center Classification: Non-Exempt Location & Schedule: Smile Magic of Lewisville | Full-Time | Tuesday-Saturday Pay: ā About the Role Weāre looking for a motivated and people-focused Assistant Practice Manager to help support daily operations and elevate the overall patient and team experience. In this role, youāll serve as a trusted partner to the Practice Managerāstrengthening team performance, improving office efficiency, and contributing to a positive, patient-centered culture. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys leadership, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is excited to grow within a fast-moving healthcare practice. š§ Key Responsibilities Train and support team members in patient scheduling, productivity, collections, receivables, and referral processes. Oversee front office operations when the Practice Manager is in meetings or off-site. Help build and develop a high-performing team that provides exceptional patient care. Cross-train with the Practice Manager and take on additional responsibilities as skills grow. Maintain effective communication with staff to ensure they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed. Complete essential administrative tasksāincluding financial reviews, daily reporting, payroll, and accounts receivableāaccurately and on time. Keep patient records and regulatory documents up-to-date and compliant. Ensure a clean, safe work environment and address hazards in compliance with OSHA and all state/federal guidelines. Partner with doctors and leadership to foster a unified, collaborative work culture.
