THE POSITION The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s (PLCB) Fine Wine & Good Spirits brand is seeking a District Manager for Store Operations in District 4, Region 2 which covers Lackawanna, Bradford, Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties. This position will be home-headquartered OR headquartered at a Wine & Spirits Store. The selected candidate would be expected to travel daily within the district and also need to respond timely to emergency situations. DESCRIPTION OF WORK This is an exciting leadership opportunity to serve the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The employee in this position serves as a District Manager within Store Operations at the PLCB. This position will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth in stores throughout the assigned district and has full accountability for the key financial results of the district. As the District Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and development of the store management teams within the district by building an independent, high-performing team that is dedicated to achieving results and supporting agency strategies. Work Schedule and Additional Information: • Full-time employment • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. • Must be willing to travel. • Travel covers Lackawanna, Bradford, Susquehanna, and Wyoming Counties. • Telework: This position is home headquartered. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: • One year as a State Liquor Store Administrator 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or • Two years as a State Liquor Store Administrator 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or • Seven years of retail store experience at the manager or assistant manager level which includes administrative and management experience involving the review, analysis, and implementation of procedures, policies, and directives; or • An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes administrative and management experience involving the review, analysis, and implementation of procedures, policies, and directives. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
