By joining our Equipment Section as a Transportation Auto/Truck Technician I, you’ll have the opportunity to complete preventive maintenance and initiate equipment repairs in the Equipment Section in Campbell County. Summary Of Responsibilities • Maintains automotive vehicles and equipment by repairing, adjusting or replacing batteries, performing tune-ups, replacing and adjusting head and taillights, checking fluids and lubricants, changing filters and belts,changing, repairing and rotating tires, checking tire pressure. • Operates tools and machinery in the repair and maintenance of automotive vehicles and equipment. • Inspects and analyzes automotive vehicles and equipment for repairs and service. Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: High school graduate. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have two years of automotive/equipment/truck repair technical experience. Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to qualify for employment in this job classification.
