Through nationwide coverage, centralized management, and data-driven insights, we enable our customers to scale efficiently without added complexity. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to join our team on-site in Farmington, MI. This is a full-time leadership role responsible for the smooth execution of our day-to-day operations and the performance of our operations team. The Director of Operations will take full ownership of service request management — from initiation through resolution — ensuring every customer interaction is handled with efficiency, accountability, and care. This individual will serve as the operational backbone of the organization, driving process improvements and maintaining the high standards our clients expect. Responsibilities - Oversee end-to-end order execution, ensuring all service requests are fulfilled accurately, on time, and to standard - Take full ownership of service request management, serving as the escalation point and ensuring no request goes unresolved - Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement - Strategize and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and scalability - Monitor and analyze performance metrics to inform data-driven decision-making - Manage operational budgets and maintain financial oversight across the department - Collaborate with hauler partners, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery - Ensure consistent customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution Qualifications - Proven expertise in operations management with a track record of implementing efficient processes and systems - Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data to drive decisions - Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment - Competence in budgeting and financial oversight - Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills - Experience in sustainable practices or environmental initiatives is a plus - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
