Job Description: • Copy edit short- and long-form content for client website, collateral, and marketing campaigns • Polish and refine existing copy to translate complex tech concepts into compelling, motivating content • Work with the creative team through regular copy/design critiques and feedback sessions. • Edit and repurpose messaging for corporate marketing deliverables, ensuring brand guideline compliance • Edit content for executive, legal, and marketing audiences with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and credibility. • Preserve technical nuance while improving readability and logical flow for target audiences. • Manage multiple editing projects while maintaining precision and attention to detail in fast-moving environments. • Stay organized and track comments/feedback across stakeholders. • Serve as the point of contact for copy deliverables. • Attend meetings for project kick-offs, feedback gathering, and style guide updates. • Communicate project updates and collaborate via Slack and Asana • Handle fast, high-volume work with tight deadlines Requirements: • 4+ years of professional copy editing experience in B2B tech, SaaS, or developer-focused content with some writing experience • Proficiency in enforcing brand style guides (AP Style) for consistency across all content • Portfolio demonstrating ability to edit and refine complex technical content into clear, compelling copy • Strong research abilities and thorough fact-checking skills • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot minute errors and inconsistencies • Experience editing both short-form and long-form content across various marketing materials • Able to self-manage multiple projects and thrive in an autonomous work environment • Comfort working in Google Docs (tracking changes) and making edits directly in Figma • Strong client-facing communication skills, as this role will often interface directly with the client team • Based in the United States (California is preferred) and willing to work 20 hours during PST • Must be willing to travel to the client location in San Francisco, semi-regularly Benefits: • Competitive salary • Full health insurance • Profit sharing • Generous 401(k) savings plan • Parental leave • Trainings, education, and investment to support career growth • FSA plan (medical and dependent care) • Life insurance, long-term disability insurance • Remote-first company • A fun, engaged, and inclusive team
