Job Description: The AlQuraishi Lab at Columbia University is seeking a Scientific Program Manager to lead technical management of machine learning projects. • Main Responsibilities: • Manage and administer multiple team projects, oversee general operation, and plan routine project team meetings (45%). • Decompose large projects into tasks and assign responsibilities across team members (30%). • Direct resource allocation to ensure research deliverables are met (25%). Required Skills: • Strong familiarity with key components of the research program, including machine learning, computational biology, and molecular sciences. • Experience with scientific writing and sufficient familiarity with scientific aspects of research. • Project management experience, preferably overseeing a large multi-component project.
