ABOUT THE POSITION The Columbia Sales team partners with key wholesale accounts to deliver strategic growth across our Apparel, Footwear, and Equipment categories. As a Key Account Sales Representative, you’ll lead the business for assigned national and regional accounts, driving revenue, elevating brand equity, and delivering best-in-class service. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and deep cross-functional collaboration. HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE Drive sustainable and profitable sales growth with assigned key accounts, managing day-to-day operations and long-term strategy. Develop and execute seasonal Go-to-Market plans using sales analytics, consumer insights, and marketplace trends. Deliver compelling product presentations through persuasive storytelling and directive selling techniques. Build and maintain exceptional account relationships, serving as a liaison to internal teams including Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, and Operations. Lead cross-functional collaboration to support account needs and ensure timely execution of seasonal initiatives. Create and implement marketing plans that drive consumer awareness, conversion, and brand advocacy. Forecast business performance and communicate account health to internal stakeholders. Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow market share and elevate brand positioning. YOU ARE A strategic thinker with a strong enterprise mindset and a passion for driving results. Known for your interpersonal skills, persuasive communication, and ability to build trust-based relationships. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems with agility. Collaborative and proactive in working across teams to deliver business outcomes. A confident presenter who can tailor messaging to diverse audiences. YOU HAVE Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in sales of Apparel, Footwear, Equipment, or equivalent industry merchant experience. Advanced knowledge of retail analytics, financial planning, and open-to-buy strategies. Proven success in meeting sales goals and managing complex accounts in a fast-paced environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, sales software, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Experience working within integrated cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders. Salary Range: $99,630.00 - $166,570 *Pay decisions are determined by multiple factors, including what the market is paying, a candidate’s capabilities and skills, years of experience, and internal equity.
