Columbia Community Mental Health's Alternatives is a 9-bed Residential Treatment Facility located in St. Helens, Oregon. Position: Counselor II (QMHP) Department: Residential - Alternatives Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Salary Range: $66,081.60 - $83,512.00 (annual). There are 15 steps on our salary scale. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements). Work experience in a behavioral or mental health setting preferred. Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered. In this role, the Counselor II conducts comprehensive clinical assessments as a part of the diagnostic process, reviews ongoing delivery of services, identifies individual client needs and diagnoses substance use and/or mental health disorders, collaborates with individuals to develop individualized treatment plans, and conducts individual and group sessions to provide therapeutic treatment, and behavior modification using evidence-based practice to assist clients in reaching treatment goals.
