Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities. We are looking for qualified individuals to join our new program and team! Position: Counselor II – ACT Team (Intensive Behavioral Health Services) Salary Range: $66,081.60 - $83,512.00 (annual). We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements) Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Benefits: CCMH provides a generous comprehensive benefits program to employees and family members, including qualified domestic partners. • Generous Paid Time Off Package. (Full-time employees earn 22 days of vacation time and 9 days of sick time) • Medical and Dental Coverage (begins 1st of the month following hire date) • VSP Vision Coverage (begins 1st of the month following hire date) • 403(B) Retirement Savings (Pre- and post-tax plans with up to 3% matching contribution) • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) (Medical and dependent care options) • Voluntary Long-Term Disability, and Group Paid Life Insurance • Paid Bereavement and Jury Duty Leave • Length of Service Award, Outstanding Employee of the Department Annual Award • Voluntary Life Insurance • Accidental & Critical Illness Coverage Insurance • Student Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF), NHSC Loan Repayment Program • Educational Assistance, Professional Development Assistance Wellness Benefits: • Employee Assistance Program’s (EAP) • Trauma Support Team – Monthly Loss Processing Group led by our Licensed Clinical Directors ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assessments/Evaluations/Treatment planning • Provide wraparound and/or case management • Provide care coordination as needed • Individual/group skills training including teaching/practicing life skills with clients and/or families according to client treatment plan • Dual Diagnosis work • Consultation/education • Information/referral • Community outreach • Clinical record keeping and report writing • Participate in agency meetings and training as required and/or assigned • Collaborate with clinical team to target identified challenge areas in behavioral and social functioning and implement treatment plan as directed • Liaison with other human service organizations • Coverage, as needed, for other team members • Medication distribution may be necessary • Stay current on medication distribution training/certification as appropriate • Transportation duties may be necessary • Cooking, cleaning with clients as assigned and appropriate per location • Other duties may be assigned as needed per location/department Position Requirements: Master’s degree in psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college required. Work experience in a behavioral or mental health setting preferred. Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered. Note: All QMHP positions in the state of Oregon will need to be filled by candidates who are officially QMHP certified or registered with MHACBO. The Counselor II may be assigned to any agency program including, but not limited to: ACT, Crisis, Intensive Services, Outpatient, Jail Diversion, Wrap, Residential or Detox.
