Job Description Overview Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a dynamic Land Development Department Manager to lead and elevate our Civil / Site Land Development team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you’ll guide project direction, mentor top-tier talent, and shape the future of our discipline, while driving impactful work across the region. Responsibilities • Reviews and manages operations to ensure the quality of the technical products. • Establishes effective long-range objectives, goals, and plans for assigned team. • Provides technical and management leadership to the assigned team. • Develops marketing program in conjunction with discipline goals. • Advises and assists professionals in other groups when expert knowledge and expertise is required. • Manages activities so an adequate profit is earned on all projects. • Reviews monthly productivity and man-hour utilization-rates, reports and makes adjustments as needed. • Assigns projects to staff and schedules work. • Evaluate Employee Performance in accordance with company policy. • Oversees assigned staff development and advancement. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. • 12+ years in related field. • Professional licensure in area of expertise. Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees. Strategic thinking. Effective delegation skills. Collaboration. Ability to hold others accountable. • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
