Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all ground transportation, domestic and/or international, for assigned area. Research transportation options and select vendors based on contract, price, and flight schedules with the goal of contributing to the financial stability of the organization and maximizing the best possible guest experience. Primary Functions: • Builds strong vendor and internal relationships through regular interaction and communication pertaining to the provision of transportation services. • Organize transportation service components to include service requests, cancellations, and vendor confirmation. • Complete all transportation audits and reporting in compliance with set department goals. • Resolves guest service challenges related to delays, mechanical challenges, or emergencies; Determines best action for service recovery with optimum turnaround times and limited guest impact. • Contribute to overall team objectives and performance efforts with regular participation in team meetings and activities.
