Associate Director, Data Analysis & Support College Board - Big Future Location: This is a remote role. Candidates who live near CB offices have the option of being fully remote or hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office). All CB employees are required to occasionally travel to meet in person for business purposes. Within BigFuture, the Recruitment & Enrollment Solutions (RES) team is comprised of dedicated and experienced professionals committed to the sales, support and long-term success of the College Board’s market-leading enrollment solutions. Through consultative engagement and customer success methodologies, the team supports more than 1,200 higher education institutions annually – providing strategic insights, adoption support and guidance on how to leverage the College Board’s Search & Connections suite to achieve enrollment goals. About the Opportunity As the Associate Director, Data Analysis & Support for Recruitment and Enrollment Solutions (RES), you are a member of a team that seeks to expand educational opportunities for students considering post-secondary education. Working with the Director of Sales Analysis & Support, you will perform data entry and analysis, troubleshoot and resolve sales-related issues, track sales and customer activity, and create reports and dashboards to ensure the RES team meets its strategic goals. This role is pivotal to the success of our campus-facing Search and Connections consultants, providing them with timely and accurate data assets and operational support. Your excellent organizational skills will enable you to manage multiple projects at once and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You are independent and proactive with exceptional problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to make things more efficient. In this role, you will: Maintain and analyze sales and customer data (65%) Capture and track sales and customer data in regular intervals (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) to help report on progress to goals Ensure data integrity and file optimization of frequently used data assets Prepare accurate files for bulk-uploading records into our CRM Manage project work with cross-functional teams using Jira Maintain documentation of data discrepancies and special initiatives Assist in preparing internal and external reports using tools such as Canva, Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau Be a ‘superuser’ of Salesforce for the RES team by creating reports and dashboards, assisting users, and finding ways to continuously improve our instance Help build and improve Tableau dashboards to visualize customer behavior and progress to goals Complete frequent ad-hoc data requests and collaborate on larger data projects for internal and external stakeholders Identify opportunities for process, automation, technology, and system improvements in our data work Support and enable Sales and Customer Success work (35%) Prepare accurate email distribution lists with dynamic data fields to protect customer PII Clean and analyze contact and account reports to help identify new business opportunities Manage CRM lead queues by qualifying RFI submissions and assigning to Sales team Generate data-heavy documents for clients as needed and help improve upon existing templates and materials Track outreach campaigns to help connect leads and clients with sales and customer success consultants as appropriate About You To qualify for this role, you must have: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of related experience with business and data analysis, CRM management, and/or sales support and enablement Experience in working with large, complex datasets to identify patterns, detect inconsistencies, and recommend optimizations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Strong organization and prioritization skills and the proven ability to move forward multiple projects in concert, both independently and as a member of the team Advanced Excel skills required (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, formulas) Salesforce experience including building reports and dashboards Ability to travel 3-5 times per year Preferred qualifications: Experience in the higher education arena Experience in a sales and customer success division Basic SQL knowledge Utilization of data visualization tools focused on business intelligence; experience with Tableau All roles at College Board require: A passion for expanding educational and career opportunities and mission-driven work Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, with a willingness to experiment with and adopt new AI-driven solutions and comfort with learning and applying new digital tools independently and proactively.
