Role Overview: As an Exchange Engineer at Collabera, you will play a critical role in managing and supporting global messaging systems for a major banking client. This position requires a skilled professional to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of Microsoft Exchange environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams. What You'll Do: - You will manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server environments to ensure optimal performance and availability. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex Exchange-related issues in a timely manner. - You will implement and support Exchange migrations, upgrades, and patching activities. - You will collaborate with global IT teams to design and deploy messaging solutions. - You will monitor system health and perform proactive maintenance to prevent outages. - You will ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for messaging systems. - You will document processes, configurations, and incident resolutions for knowledge sharing. - You will provide technical support and guidance to junior team members. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Microsoft Exchange Server environments. - Strong knowledge of Exchange Server 2013/2016/2019 and Office 365 hybrid deployments. - Experience with Exchange migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning. - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration. - Solid understanding of networking, Active Directory, and security protocols. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the banking or financial services industry. - Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Exchange Server or Microsoft 365 Certified. - Familiarity with other messaging platforms and collaboration tools. - Experience with cloud-based messaging solutions and hybrid environments.
