Role Overview: As a Data Center Facility Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of data center facilities. You will be responsible for supporting engineering and facility management teams to maintain optimal performance, reliability, and security of data center infrastructure. What You'll Do: - You will monitor and maintain data center equipment and infrastructure to ensure continuous operation. - You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility systems. - You will coordinate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues. - You will manage access control and security protocols within the data center. - You will document operational procedures and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. - You will assist in the implementation of safety and compliance standards. - You will support emergency response and disaster recovery efforts as needed. - You will collaborate with vendors and contractors for facility upgrades and repairs. What You Bring: - You have at least 1-2 years of experience in data center operations or facility management. - You possess knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems. - You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - You are familiar with safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to data centers. - You have excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with data center monitoring tools and software. - Certifications such as Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA) or similar. - Background in electrical or mechanical systems. - Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment.
