This position is remote work from home in the US; applicants must reside in one of these 22 states: AZ, CA, CT, FL, ID, IL, IN, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NV, NY, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VT, WA. Key Responsibilities Direct Customer Engagement: • Own responsibility for landing commercial agreements for software analytics products at specific named customers • Conduct in-person and remote meetings to understand client requirements, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction. • Travel to customer sites for 1-2 weeks at a time to become fully embedded in customer processes. • Build lasting relationships with customers, acting as their advocate within Cohu while turning them into advocates for Cohu software. Pre-Sales Activities: • Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities and create a strategic plan for Cohu analytics within each customer • Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients. • Collect and document the requirements for solutions that will impact customer challenges and develop customized proposals and technical documentation in support. • Work with sales to drive to secure the key orders from targeted customers • Support sales enablement by providing technical expertise during the sales cycle. • Either directly build or collaborate with application engineers to build custom user workflows for customers using generative AI. Software Applications Focus: • Work closely with engineering and development teams to define product requirements and prioritize features. Solution Development & Delivery: • Architect and oversee the implementation of custom software solutions for clients, leveraging the latest technologies and best practices. • Own the end-to-end execution of high-impact projects, from ideation to deployment. • Ensure successful product adoption and ongoing customer success through proactive support and continuous improvement. Qualifications • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing - must be sufficiently familiar with the semiconductor manufacturing space to have meaningful conversations with manufacturing workers, managers and leaders. • Experience working with or selling analytics products, and an optimistic mindset about the impacts of AI/ML. • Bachelor's or master's degree in physics, computer science, engineering, or related field. • Proven experience in software product marketing, product management, pre-sales engineering, or customer-facing technical roles. • Strong technical background in software applications and integration technologies. • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and with external clients. • Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex business and technical problems. • Willingness to travel and spend significant time onsite with customers (1-2 weeks at a time) Bonus Skills or Background • Entrepreneurial experience, such as startup co-founder • Prior experience in sales, pre-sales engineering or technical consulting for software products. • Experience working directly with enterprise customers in a fast-paced, innovative environment. • Experience in both fab and assembly & test • Experience or training in user-centered design or user research • Software development experience • Experience using generative AI coding tools About the Company Our company is committed to delivering cutting-edge analytics solutions that help businesses unlock the power of data.
