Role Overview: As a Security Analyst at Cohere Health, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring the integrity of our clinical intelligence platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, monitor security threats, and implement robust security measures that protect sensitive healthcare data. What You'll Do: - You will monitor and analyze security alerts to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time. - You will conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks. - You will collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement security controls and best practices. - You will investigate security incidents and lead root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. - You will maintain and update security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards. - You will stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to proactively enhance our security posture. - You will assist in security awareness training for employees to foster a culture of security mindfulness. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles. - You possess strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls. - You are proficient with security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection. - You have experience with incident response, threat hunting, and forensic analysis. - You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - You have effective communication skills to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the healthcare or clinical technology sector. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH. - Familiarity with cloud security platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and GDPR.
