Manage and develop a remote team supporting Workday HCM and related technologies, ensuring project success and team growth.
Requires 4+ years of Workday experience, 2+ years of team management, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
The Workday HCM Manager (Continuous Value Services) serves as a billable lead or consultant to our postproduction clients. The individual in this role will manage a team of Continuous Value Services Consultants and assist with sales activities and resourcing. They will work closely with Engagement Managers to identify business needs, assist with staffing, and ensure work/life balance of our consultants is monitored and adjusted appropriately. Responsibilities • Recruit, develop, manage, and retain a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting technologies within the Cognizant Workday areas of HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, Talent and other cross functional touchpoints. • Work closely with Engagement Managers and team members to identify project needs and develop solutions and strategies. • Support development and refinement of Continuous Value Services post-production process and materials and drive methodology acceptance and application across projects by all team members. • Perform role of counselor and coach for people development within the team. • Create initiatives where team members can assist on building the Continuous Value Services practice. • Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment. • Assist Continous Value Services Managers with Continuous Value Services initiatives which support and grow the Continuous Value Services practice. • Monitor forecast accuracy and utilization for team members and actively engage with project team to achieve the highest levels of forecasting accuracy and utilization expectations. • Ensure consultants are adhering to the activities, processes and procedures outlined in Workday’s and our Continuous Value Services methodologies. • Drive team and individuals to achieve high client satisfaction levels. • Actively engage with project teams to gather feedback related to performance and consulting skills of team members on a regular basis.
