Full Description

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with at least 8+ years of experience, you will play a key role in designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications and microservices using modern technologies. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team, collaborating with cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and front-end developers to deliver innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop user-friendly web applications using Angular 10+ and Java 8+. • Perform Peer Review of the code. • Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality. • Implement microservices architecture to enhance application scalability and maintainability. • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to improve application usability and performance. • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and security. Required Qualifications • Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer. • Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Angular 10+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Rest and RESTful APIs. • Experience with microservices architecture and development practices. • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. • Understanding of database technologies like SQL and NoSQL. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. • Knowledge of cloud-native development and serverless architecture. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure Boards. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 to $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
