Together we build our future! Cogent is hiring an Order Coordinator to work at our Edelmann & Associates branch in Plymouth, MN. The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree (minimum) along with previous experience in a customer service/order coordination/scheduling position. Clarifies invalid and unclear order requirements with sales staff • Enters all sales orders from Application Engineers into our ERP system • Places orders with vendors to purchase customer orders • Computes prices, shipping costs, and any appropriate discounts • Handles inbound calls from customers, vendors and sales personnel • Provides sales quotes for parts to customers from vendor-provided resources • Determines the appropriate timing of orders to ensure timely delivery and cost savings • Verifies and updates customer information • Checks the customer account for credit and outstanding payments • Informs the customer and/or salesmen of the shipping date and any possible delays • Accurately prepares invoices in our billing system • Electronically files copies of all orders received • Adheres to productivity standards to ensure all orders are handled in a timely and efficient manner • Customer Service is KEY; you will have contact with customers on a daily basis Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities: • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and Google Drive and Gmail • Fast paced self-motivator who promotes teamwork among co-workers • Ability to multi-task such as simultaneously using telephone and computer skills • Must have a general knowledge of basic mathematical computations • Ability to sit for extended periods while typing and reading on the computer • Experience using Epicor Prophet 21 or similar ERP software programs preferred • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM preferred Why Work With Us?
