This remote role will support strategic IT decisions, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure strong vendor accountability while partnering with Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with a deep understanding of IT operations, vendor management, and enterprise-level analytics. This role offers the opportunity to influence IT strategy, optimize vendor relationships, and drive operational excellence in a regulated environment. **Key Responsibilities** Vendor Management Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal performance and value. Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and risk assessments, driving continuous improvement. Identify opportunities to reduce vendor sprawl and dependence on consultants through standardization and strategic sourcing. Monitor service performance, vendor effectiveness, and cost efficiency, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities. Assess and mitigate IT operational and vendor-related risks, escalating issues when necessary. **Budgeting & Financial Planning** Prepare and present regular financial and operational reports to IT leadership to support data-driven decisions. Partner with Finance to support annual IT budgeting, forecasting, and alignment with strategic priorities. Track IT expenses, forecast variances, and optimize technology investments based on business needs. Support business case development for new IT initiatives, ensuring financial rigor and measurable value. Maintain operational metrics and dashboards related to budget performance, contractual compliance, and service delivery. **Operational Leadership** Support IT staffing plans, onboarding, and professional development initiatives. Deliver concise business updates to leadership, including executive summaries for senior stakeholders. Build structure, improve processes, and ensure accountability across IT operations. Translate operational insights and external market trends into actionable strategies. **Required Skills & Competencies** Deep understanding of IT-specific contract structures, vendor management, and regulatory compliance. Strong business acumen with the ability to collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence/data visualization tools. Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a regulated environment. Ability to communicate complex technical and operational concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills. Experience synthesizing data and conversations into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
