CodeVertex Careers is hiring for the Data Entry Clerk - Remote - Entry Level position. This fully remote position is open to candidates in Illinois and involves entering and maintaining customer records, account information, and operational data across internal systems. Responsibilities • Accurately enter customer, account, and operational data into company databases and internal management systems • Review submitted information for completeness, correct formatting, and accuracy — flag any discrepancies for supervisor review • Maintain well-organized digital records across multiple client accounts and internal databases • Meet daily data entry accuracy and productivity targets as established by team management • Communicate task updates, questions, and completion status to team leads via email and messaging platforms • Handle all data, account records, and customer information with strict confidentiality at all times • Assist with document formatting, file management, and general administrative support tasks as needed • Participate in brief team check-ins and training sessions to stay current on processes and system updates Requirements • High school diploma or GED required • Typing speed of at least 40 WPM with high accuracy preferred • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free home workspace • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy across high-volume data tasks • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently without supervision • Must pass a pre-employment background check • No prior experience required — full paid training is provided from day one • Must be authorized to work in the United States To apply, submit your resume and complete our short online application form.
