We're working with a High-Growth Consumer and Distribution Services Firm. They are seeking a Strategically driven professional within their M&A team to be a lead within the Company. Reporting to the Head of M&A. This professional will be a lead working with Finance and M&A Teams along with Executives throughout their businesses. This roles responsibilities including Corporate Finance, Strategy, Financing Initiatives, and M&A. Will work very closely with CEO, COO, and CFO. Responsibilities: • Assess financial information to gain operational understanding of target business models, stability of historical results, cash flows, and operating metrics under compressed timelines, including interviewing target management and executives to discuss historical financial results and trends, projected outlook, and operational requirements of the business. • Analyze target historical and projected revenue drivers and financial reports to prepare quality of earnings by normalizing historical revenue and EBITDA to exclude non-recurring and non-operational items. • Perform analyses to determine target’s historical and adjusted working capital profiles and assist in identifying projected and target closing working capital levels for inclusion in purchase agreements. • Identify debt and debt-like items for valuation and modeling considerations to inform purchase price. • Execute analyses to bridge historical to projected financials, report on achievability of target forecasts, and understand sales and margin evolution and go-forward expectations to provide valuation model input assumptions • Analyze financial and operational results of targets through review of accounting records as well as interviews with management. • Analyze strategic, operational, and financial impacts of firm or potential acquisitions, effectively communicate strategic scenarios to management • Create and present key business insights to C-Suite executive management team Requirements/Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics preferred; MBA or other advanced degree a plus • Must have 3 - 5 years’ experience in Financial Due Diligence • High proficiency in Excel; building 3 -Stage financial models • Experience with startup and/or growth-stage businesses seeking investment capital • Ability to Travel
