We are currently partnered with a leading global alternative asset manager($950M AUM) looking to expand their treasury risk team by adding on an Associate to their FX trading & hedging desk. This is a high visibility role working across all businesses including real estate, private equity, and credit among others. This is a high-impact role co-located within a lean team of five, responsible for the strategy formation and execution of financial risk management across the firm's global ecosystem. You will be exposed to the full investment lifecycle across different business groups and portfolio assets. You will move seamlessly between high-level market analysis, hedging strategy formulation, live derivatives trade execution, and post-trade support. We are looking for a professional with 2–4 years of experience who possesses an "owner’s mindset"—someone who can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and is driven to add tangible value to the business. Key Responsibilities • Risk Analysis: Analyze financial market risks (specifically FX and Interest Rates) arising from global investment, financing, and capital markets activity. • Strategy Formulation: Design and propose hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks using derivatives. • Advisory & Communication: Act as a partner to deal teams and senior management globally, clearly communicating risk management strategies and market views. • Execution: Assist with derivative trade execution, position/portfolio management, and trade reporting. • Market Intelligence: Analyze global macro trends and data to contribute to the formation of the team’s house market views. • Strategic Initiatives: Manage special projects focused on improving execution workflows, enhancing reporting capabilities, and other value-add activities. Qualifications & Requirements • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related quantitative discipline with a strong academic record. • Experience: 2–4 years of work experience in a Derivatives Sales & Trading role (Bank or Asset Manager), Hedge Advisory, or a complex Corporate Treasury group. • Product Knowledge: Specific focus on FX and/or Interest Rate products is required. • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and derivatives trading systems. • Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative skills with an obsessive attention to detail.
