Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in a high-volume production environment, preferably in photography, beauty, or fashion. Proficiency in various software tools and excellent time management skills are essential.
We are seeking freelance creative production support. In this capacity you will partner with our teams to oversee and manage photo retouching projects from start to finish, and be responsible for delivering beautiful work efficiently and on time. The Freelance Creative Production Manager will work closely with clients directly and partner with internal account and retouching teams on global campaign and digital photo post-production. Candidates must have the ability to successfully manage and produce multiple deadline driven projects with high image volume (hundreds of images simultaneously) while maintaining the utmost in accuracy and the highest visual quality. A developed eye, ability to review markups, critique and provide feedback to enhance imagery are important to success in this role. An appreciation of professional photography and advertising art is also an important factor for consideration. This role operates onsite in our studios and office in Tribeca. Creative Production: Own all aspects of a job from start to final delivery Review imagery from a creative lens to ensure that each one looks beautiful, campaigns are cohesive, and there are no mistakes. Act as the client’s eyes to ensure images deliver on client’s creative expectations and brief and are enhanced from the original. Collaborate with the Account Team on project deliverables – including deadlines, budgeted time available, and creative direction. Manage day-to-day workflow and images for client deadlines Responsible for meeting client deadlines and creative asks. Work with Account lead + Production Director to establish process, resources, budget, and workflow for accounts Serve as day to day liaison to clients and lead communications related to projects (file deliveries, schedules, receiving feedback, offering solutions, etc.) Manage project flow and workload with retouchers and prepress throughout the production process. Plan and organize project schedules. Attend and lead review sessions and production meetings. Manage quality control on all images being sent to clients – especially at end of process, serving as the final set of eyes before images are delivered as final. Meet Client deadlines. Track and manage time spent on each image to evaluate resource spend; produce reports and conduct post-mortem meetings in order to improve workflow. Ingest and track all files, markup proofs, markup files, emails, samples, hard drives Accounts Team Support: Create estimates and monitor budget for jobs you are producing with Account Support. Professionalism: Contribute to a positive and team-oriented environment. Partner effectively with the Production, Prepress, and Retouching teams. Make decisions and actions in the interest of the company. 5-7 years experience in a high volume production environment Experience with photography, beauty or fashion industry - Preference will be given to those with photography background Working knowledge in Photoshop, Bridge, Excel, InDesign, Monday.com, Wave.com and File Transfer Programs (Global Edit, FTP, Dropbox, wetransfer, etc.) Superb color vision / ability to see color Excellent time management skills Ability to work both in a team and independently Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a creative team The anticipated salary range for this role is $50 - $65 per hour. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements. This role is freelance support and does not qualify for benefits.
