Additionally, the Clerk must work alongside warehouse management to manage the flow of inbound and outbound goods, allocating proper resources and ensuring adequate dock management. Documenting all logs, records, and reports meticulously and communicating effectively are other responsibilities of the Clerk. Duties & Responsibilities: • Managing the movement of goods and inventory in a warehouse becomes much simpler with the use of a warehouse system, which automates the processing of inbound and outbound loads • To ensure the efficient conduct of a warehouse, modifying, reviewing, and finalizing reports on inventory, scheduling of incoming and outgoing goods, dock management, and yard maintenance is imperative • Communicates with warehouse management, stakeholders, and other business partners to optimize the efficiency of operations, ensure the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments, monitor appointment schedules, and allocate resources effectively • Maintains open communication channels with relevant stakeholders to ensure that they are aware of any issues or concerns arising from the logs and reports • Meeting management requirements, including maintaining a clean and safe workspace and constructing pallets, is a critical component of the job • Anticipate being given additional duties as needed Proficiency, abilities, and expertise are some of the key components in a person's knowledge, skills, and abilities • Employees in logistics must possess adequate knowledge of warehouse systems and protocols, as well as basic computer literacy skills such as proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint • Being able to work efficiently in a dynamic surrounding while frequently lifting and walking with items weighing up to 30 pounds • Capacity to carry a load of up to 75 pounds • The capability to work efficiently with colleagues is a critical competency for any employee • A well-coordinated and organized warehouse is essential to ensuring streamlined and efficient processes • Possessing the capability to adjust to different job demands while meeting each task's basic requirements • Comprehending and acting upon instructions shown on a computer screen • It is essential to pay close attention to detail and discern the differences in our products • Capability to operate in surroundings with abundant noise and no access to regulating temperatures (sweltering heat during summers and freezing cold during winters) • A proactive and adaptable worker who takes on new responsibilities with gusto, unafraid of stepping out of their comfort zone and embracing new challenges with enthusiasm • The business has the ability to adjust work hours to align with the most pressing demands Minimum Qualifications: • While the process of obtaining a GED may be more challenging due to its focus on independent study, it still signifies an individual's success in completing their basic education • The competence developed over one to three years of professional experience • A PIT Certification for a Pallet Jack can be obtained by employees within the first month of being employed.
