The Clerk must also manage the flow of inbound and outbound goods to ensure optimal efficiency, while providing proper dock management and resource allocation. Additionally, the Clerk must maintain accurate records, logs, and reports and communicate effectively with warehouse management, other departments, and business partners. Duties & Responsibilities: • Through the use of warehouse systems, companies can streamline the processing of inbound and outbound loads, including Stock Transport Orders, purchase orders, customer shipments, and deposit loads • The smooth functioning of a warehouse depends on an organised system which is supported by comprehensive reports on inbound and outbound shipments, dock management, stock availability, and yard maintenance, with adjustments made as required • Interfaces with warehouse management, various departments, and external stakeholders to promote efficiency, monitor the precision of inbound and outbound shipments, manage appointment timing, and allocate resources efficiently • Develops and implements a system for managing and tracking hard copy documents, ensuring that they are always easily accessible when required • To guarantee the security and cleanliness of the warehouse and work area, it is essential to complete additional tasks requested by management, including pallet construction • Anticipate being given additional duties as needed One's aptitude, competencies, and outstanding qualities within a particular field together forms their knowledge, skills, and abilities • Being knowledgeable about warehouse protocols and systems, and having basic computer competence including applications like Microsoft Office and SharePoint, is a must-have for individuals working in the field of logistics • Aptitude for working efficiently in a rapid environment, while frequently walking and lifting weights of at most 30 pounds • Competent at lifting weight as heavy as 75 pounds • The ability to cooperate within a group environment is an important hallmark of a successful career • Dependable and efficient warehouse processes demand the effective coordination and organization of various activities within the facility • Being pliant enough to fulfill distinct job responsibilities and attain the minimum expectations of each task • Efficiently reading and executing instructions from a computer screen • To truly understand our offerings, you must be able to spot the subtleties and distinguish between them • Capability to operate in surroundings with abundant noise and no access to regulating temperatures (sweltering heat during summers and freezing cold during winters) • A forward-thinking individual who is not afraid to take the lead or suggest new ideas, recognizing that innovation is vital to staying ahead of the curve and achieving long-term success • The firm has a responsive schedule that can be modified as needed to keep up with demand Minimum Qualifications: • While the process of obtaining a GED may be more challenging due to its focus on independent study, it still signifies an individual's success in completing their basic education • The expertise earned from working in a particular industry for one to three years • Employees who have recently been hired are eligible to obtain a certification for a Pallet Jack, a type of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), within the first 30 days of their employment.
