Additionally, dock management and proper resource allocation are pivotal components of the Clerk's tasks. Documenting all records, logs, and reports with meticulous precision and communicating effectively with warehouse management and other departments are additional responsibilities of the Clerk. Duties & Responsibilities: • Warehouse systems provide a streamlined solution for processing stock movements, including the handling of purchase orders, Stock Transport Orders, and customer orders, as well as incoming and outgoing deposits • One way to support the effective functioning of a warehouse is to modify, review, and complete reports that pertain to scheduling of incoming and outgoing shipments, management of the docks, availability of stock, and maintenance of the surrounding area • Coordinates with warehouse management, external business partners, and various departments to promote efficiency, manage the accuracy of loading and unloading of products, oversee appointment schedules, and allocate resources appropriately • Completes all mandatory logs and reports in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all deadlines are met • As directed by management, it is essential to keep the work and storage spaces clean and safe, as well as fulfilling any additional responsibilities, such as constructing pallets • Expect to take on further duties as directed The expertise, talents and qualifications that an individual possesses in a certain field are known as their knowledge, skills, and abilities • Employees in logistics must possess adequate knowledge of warehouse systems and protocols, as well as basic computer literacy skills such as proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint • The aptitude to perform tasks in a fast-paced setting with the ability to repetitively lift and carry objects weighing 30 pounds • Being capable of lifting up to 75 pounds • The capacity to work in unison with a team is an important attribute for professional growth • A well-coordinated and organized warehouse is essential to ensuring streamlined and efficient processes • Being able to adapt to diverse job functions and ensure that each role's minimum expectations are met • Reading and comprehending instructions on a computer screen • Being able to observe the subtle distinctions between our products will set you apart • Aptitude to work in a surrounding where the atmosphere is noisy and the temperature is not controlled (hot summers and cold winters) • A self-driven professional who thrives on taking the reins and navigating through challenges independently, displaying a confident and tenacious attitude towards achieving successful outcomes • The business operates with a flexible schedule that is subject to change depending on the situation Minimum Qualifications: • Whether through traditional high school education or GED programs, earning a diploma or equivalent is a crucial step towards achieving one's career aspirations • The understanding obtained during one to three years of working in a particular field • New employees have the chance to obtain a certification for a Pallet Jack, which is a type of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), during their first 30 days on the job.
