We are on a mission to rid the world of car crashes by teaching students to be safe and confident drivers for life. About This Role: The Social & Content Marketing Specialist plays a vital role in elevating Coastline’s brand presence across social media, online forums, and digital publications. This position blends creative storytelling with tactical execution. The ideal candidate is a video-first thinker, a social-savvy writer, and a proactive content creator who’s excited to lead production from idea to post. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management • Own short-form video content from ideation to editing • Create video content using instructor footage and podcast clips • Plan monthly themes and topics for instructors to film • Manage posting calendar and schedule across all major platforms • Moderate comments and engage meaningfully with our audience • Identify and interact with complementary accounts and trends Forum Engagement • Create and comment on Reddit threads related to driving, education, and vehicles • Ask and answer relevant questions on Quora to drive visibility and traffic • Build a consistent presence in relevant directories and discussion forums Content & Research Projects • Develop viral, media-friendly industry reports using surveys, available data, and trend analysis • Examples include: • Top Cars Used by tiktok influencers • Safest States Based on Teen Accident Rates • Teen Survey on if they would delay getting their license if Robotaxis was in their city. • Pitch ideas, design infographics, and collaborate with media partners for amplification Marketing Support • Help create flyers, graphics, and print collateral using Canva or similar tools • Assist the marketing team with regional campaigns as needed Qualifications and Key Attributes for Success: • 3+ years of strong experience with social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, and LinkedIn • Proficiency with video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, or similar) • Strong writing and communication skills, particularly in persuasive or viral content formats • Self-starter with the ability to take projects from concept to execution • Comfortable conducting surveys, analyzing data, and turning insights into shareable stories • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Google Drive, and scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, etc.) • Bonus: Experience working with influencers or podcast clips At Coastline Academy, we celebrate diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
