Full Description

We are working with an International Medical Device manufacturer, that is seeking a new Group FP&A Analyst to join the team. The company has recently made multiple acquisitions across North America. The goal of this candidate will be able to assist with the new acquisitions, handling tasks like financial modelling, budgeting & forecasting, building out KPIs, and cash flow analysis. All going well, this candidate will also have the opportunity to sit in on board meetings, and assist the VP in preparing for them. This role is mostly remote, and they would like someone who can come into the office around once a quarter. Key responsibilities • Budgeting and forecasting: Consolidate budgets and forecasts from various business units into a group-level plan. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts. • Financial analysis: Analyze current and past financial trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the entire group. Perform variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actual results and planned performance. • Strategic support: Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. • Reporting and communication: Prepare and present financial reports, and dashboards to senior leadership and other stakeholders. Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for a non-financial audience. • Process improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, enhance accuracy, and increase efficiency. • Risk assessment: Assess financial risks and opportunities facing the company. Technical Skills Required • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and interpret results is critical. • Financial Modeling: Strong expertise in building financial models is essential for forecasting and analysis.
