Were currently seeking a highly motivated Energy Marshall Data Center Critical Infrastructure located inMalaga, WA. Required Education: • High School Diploma Required Certifications: Preferred Certifications: • OSHA 30 (Construction); • NFPA 70E; • Certified Energy Control Professional (CECP) or equivalent Required Qualifications: In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities. • Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction safety, electrical systems, commissioning, or energy isolation on large-scale industrial or data center projects. • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and lockout/tagout requirements. • Demonstrated experience managing energized systems in mission-critical facilities. • Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, and construction documents. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to enforce authority in high-risk environments. • Proficiency with documentation, permitting systems, and digital reporting tools. Preferred Qualifications: • OSHA 30 (Construction); • NFPA 70E; • Certified Energy Control Professional (CECP) or equivalent Responsibilities: • Act as the primary authority for energy control on-site, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal systems. • Develop, review, and enforce Energy Control Procedures (ECPs) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) plans for all applicable systems. • Coordinate and authorize all energization, de-energization, and re-energization activities during construction and commissioning. • Verify zero-energy states prior to work and ensure proper isolation boundaries are established and maintained. • Review method statements, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and energization plans for compliance and risk mitigation. Coordinate closely with construction managers, commissioning agents, electrical contractors, safety teams, and client representatives. • Maintain detailed documentation, logs, permits, and approvals related to energy control activities. • Conduct field audits, inspections, and spot checks to ensure adherence to approved procedures. • Lead or participate in pre-task planning meetings and toolbox talks related to energized work. • Stop work immediately if unsafe conditions or unauthorized energy activities are identified. Preferred : • Support incident investigations and corrective action implementation related to energy control issue • Experience serving as an Energy Marshal or energization authority on data center or mission-critical construction projects • Strong knowledge of hazardous energy control, LOTO, NFPA 70E, and OSHA requirements- Ability to develop, review, and enforce Energy Control Procedures (ECPs) • Experience coordinating energization, de-energization, and commissioning activities • Proficient in reading electrical one-lines, arc flash studies, and construction drawingsProven ability to assess risk, review JHAs/method statements, and enforce safe work practices- Confident field presence with authority to stop work for unsafe conditions • Strong communication skills when coordinating with owners, contractors, and commissioning teams- Detail-oriented with experience maintaining energization logs, permits, and compliance records • Familiarity with mission-critical systems (switchgear, MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators) • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with critical energization milestones Preferred SKILLS/ABILITIES: Salary: • $50 - $60 per hour Bonus Pay: A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managements discretion.
