We’re currently seeking a highly motivated Air Cargo Project Manager & Commercial Support located in Philadelphia, PA. Overview: Responsible for coordinating the development of various infrastructure improvements critical to the expansion of commercial activities at PHL. Responsible for assisting the Commercial department in coordinating development with other departments within PHL, primarily Capital Development. Serves as a technical resource for Commercial department on a variety of issues. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical preferred) Required Qualifications: In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities. 10-15 years of experience in Aviation, Commercial Development, or Facilities) Prior experience in staff augmentation for an institutional entity (airports, university, multi-site operations) Good working knowledge Program implementation, Site Development. Ability to use intuition in meetings or discussions to understand where engagement is necessary, and where members of the organization may be in need of assistance and guidance, without being asked. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with others. Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of client, project team, and others. Broad knowledge of technical topics, and the ability to recognize where technical knowledge gaps exist both within the self and amongst the various entities being coordinated with. Knowledge of contract negotiation and administration Knowledge of all applicable computer spreadsheet, database, presentation, and word processing software and hardware, including project management and scheduling applications Knowledge and familiarity of working with project controls platforms (eBuilder) Responsibilities: Coordinate the development of multiple commercial sites, providing updates to PHL management on schedule, cost, and engineering or environmental issues. Serve as a liaison between the Commercial and Capital Development departments, providing an avenue of communication that is capable of understanding both the technical and business environments being bridged in this coordination. Assist the Properties Unit with the development and implementation of a document review platform to monitor the design review process of both capital and tenant projects. Assist the Commercial department through technical consulting on a variety of efforts and programs undertaken by the department. Participate in the development of, including writing and preparing, presentations and communications materials for diverse audiences Assist PHL management in administration of projects and relationships with clients Complete projects as assigned Salary: $180,000.00 - $190,000.00 annually Bonus Pay: A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management’s discretion.
