CME Corp. is looking to add a talented and highly motivated sales professional to join our growing organization. As a Life Science Account Manager, you will play a key role in our sales team managing your book of business, developing new business opportunities, and meeting or exceeding sales profitability objectives selling healthcare equipment and related services with a focus on lab, also calling on research, phlebotomoy, blood bank and morgue departments. The territory is the greater southern California region, and the focus is on the largest and most prestigious healthcare systems within your territory. This role will report to the Vice President of Specialty Sales. Responsibilities: • Manage and grow opportunities with existing and new customers for life science products through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and ensure customer satisfaction. • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the features, benefits, and applications of the life science equipment– be a resource for your customer • Meet monthly and annual sales/revenue targets • Collaborate with Account Manager to grow life science product sales within accounts • Bidding/quoting projects and creating proposals • Maintain current and develop new relationships with manufacturer sales representatives • Identify and qualify key “Decision Makers” (buying influencers) in all key and target accounts • Create value beyond our products and services in a way that differentiates us from the competition • Stay current with industry trends Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with 5 years of relevant work experience • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in account management in acute care facilities or similar role • Minimum 2 years experience in life science product sales with lab focus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Experienced in Microsoft office products and Salesforce CRM • Must live in the geographical location of the position • Regular daily travel within the geographic territory as business needs require • Occasional overnight travel may be required • Attend industry trade shows as needed Who you are: • Self-motivated and goal oriented • Highly organized and strong attention to detail • Effective communication and presentation skills • Strong, consistent and competitive work ethic • Strong problem-solving skills with solution-oriented focus • Customer Centric approach • Adaptable to change and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment Compensation and Benefits: • Commission based with a weekly draw.
