Role Overview: As the Customs Brokerage Manager, you will oversee the customs brokerage operations to ensure compliance with U.S. customs regulations and efficient processing of shipments. You will lead a team to maintain high standards of accuracy and service, supporting the company’s mission to deliver seamless logistics solutions. What You'll Do: - You will manage daily customs brokerage operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. - You will supervise and mentor a team of customs brokers and support staff. - You will coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to facilitate smooth customs clearance. - You will monitor and analyze customs processes to identify areas for improvement. - You will ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of customs entries. - You will stay updated on changes in customs regulations and communicate impacts to the team. - You will resolve complex customs issues and provide expert guidance to clients and colleagues. - You will maintain strong relationships with customs authorities and industry partners. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs brokerage or related logistics roles. - Strong knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and compliance requirements. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team. - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency with customs brokerage software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with international trade compliance and import/export regulations. - Certification as a Licensed Customs Broker. - Familiarity with trade agreements and tariff classifications. - Experience working in a blended office and remote environment.
