HI, Send your resume to dilip@cloudingest.com Role: Program Manager (Data background must) Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite), Remote should also works Duration: Full Time Looking only for W2 (GC and USC) Client: Direct JD: • Lead end-to-end program management of the cloud data platform modernization initiative, with a primary focus on Teradata to Databricks and snowflake migration. • Work with architects, data engineers, and cloud teams to plan and oversee migration strategy, roadmap, and delivery milestones. • Define and drive program governance, including establishing clear metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms. • Coordinate with stakeholders across business, infrastructure, and data teams to ensure alignment on timelines, priorities, and dependencies. • Ensure robust risk and issue management with proactive mitigation strategies. • Manage multiple workstreams including data ingestion, ETL/ELT modernization, data quality, security, and compliance. • Partner with vendor teams and system integrators to manage third-party deliverables and performance. • Drive Agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies across program teams. • Ensure adherence to cloud best practices, data security standards, and enterprise architectural guidelines. • Report program health, status, and risks to executive leadership in a structured and actionable format. Required Qualifications: • 15- 25 year of program and project management experience in large-scale data transformation or modernization initiatives. • Proven experience managing Teradata migrations to modern platforms like Databricks. • Hands-on experience or strong technical understanding of cloud platforms (Azure) and cloud-native data ecosystems. • Deep knowledge of data engineering and analytics pipelines, including ETL/ELT, Spark, SQL, and modern Data Lakehouse Architectures. • Strong background in stakeholder management, budget oversight, and vendor governance. • Excellent understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe delivery methodologies. • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. • Experience in regulated environments (finance, healthcare, etc.) is a plus. • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
